How to play Echo
- Press Start. Watch the pads light up and listen for their tones.
- Repeat the sequence in the same order by clicking the pads.
- Get it right and the sequence grows by one. Miss a pad and the round ends.
Why patterns stick
Pairing color and tone gives your brain two channels to encode the sequence — visual and auditory. Most players unconsciously start humming the tune as the rounds get longer. That's not cheating; it's how working memory is supposed to work.
